The swim ended with one a great party on the pier of Hudson River Park with performances of amongst others the amazing jazz saxophonist Candy Dulfer and New York based DJ Questlove.

Amongst the +400 swimmers who jumped in the Hudson were Dr. Michael van Es, Prof. Jeroen Pasterkamp, Prof. Jan Veldink and Prof. Leonard van den Berg from the ALS Centre Netherlands

By organizing an annual and unique swim event in New York City, the New Amsterdam City swim organization wants to continue raising money for medical research to fight ALS. With more research and more international cooperation, we have a better the chance to find a cure for ALS! The 2015 NACS Organizing Committee has decided to contribute all of the donations to Project MinE!
