With regret we have to report that the expedition to the top of the Mount Everest, which our ambassador Eric Arnold was undertaking, has been cancelled due to the recent icefall that killed 16 sherpa’s while they were preparing the route to the summit and the subsequent strike among the sherpas. Eric has returned to Kathmandu from the Everst basecamp and will be flying home to The Netherlands shortly. Although there is significant disappointment Eric will not give up his dream and when he returns to Nepal, we’ll follow him on his journey once again until that Project MinE flag is on the top together with him!
